There have been conflicting
research reports regarding the possibility that people
who swim regularly or work in swimming pools, which use
chlorine for disinfection purposes, may be more
susceptible to asthma than the general population. The
Amateur Swimming Association have now published

is the quality mark that recognises clubs that are
providing safe, effective and quality services for the

County Squads
There are three squads in Sussex; development, junior
and senior. The structure is designed to recognise and
support our most talented swimmers and provides them
with opportunities to train together as well as making a
link between club and regional/national squad training
or camps.
