Applications are now open for the Coach Sussex Bursary!  Posted 04/11/11)

Due to an increased need to support coaches with attaining Level 1 and 2 coaching qualifications, the Coach Sussex Bursary is targeting coaches delivering sport across the county. The bursary will provide coaches with the opportunity to undertake a level 1 or 2 coaching qualification with a financial bursary made available to support those who successfully complete their course and deliver coaching hours in return.

The Coach Sussex Bursary will fund 75% of the course cost, up to £150 for a level 1 and £200 for a level 2. Deadline for applications is Tuesday 31st January 2012.

For more details of the bursary go to http://www.activesussex.org/funding/coaches. Alternatively, if you would like to discuss how this bursary can support the development of coaches in any new or existing programmes you are involved with please do not hesitate to contact me on astatham@activesussex.org or 01273 644149.

Please promote this opportunity within your own networks to ensure it has maximum impact across the county.
