The County Team Championships is always a fun, colourful and competitive event played out in front of a packed house in Sheffield’s Ponds Forge.
It kicks off the competitive short course season for many of the swimmers. Its also one of the most exciting events of the year with more than 900 swimmers competing from English counties and Scottish and Welsh regions. Racing goes on in two pools at the same time.
In 2018 Sussex just missed out on promotion to the first division.
Sussex will be selecting a team to travel to the County Team Championships at Sheffield over the weekend of Saturday 5 Oct – Sunday 6 Oct 2019.

Squad Coach
We have appointed James Nock (Eastbourne SC) as the lead coach for the 2018 event. He will be supported by Andy Lobley from Atlantis SC.
Officials, team managers and volunteers representing clubs with swimmers in the squad will be invited to join the support team.
Clubs are asked to refer to the selection criteria for the squad.
