Applications for a refund for competitor entries into the County Championships must be submitted in accordance with the published conditions (condition 5.1) for the event.
If you are making an application for a refund you must also complete the withdrawal form so that the swimmer is removed from heats correctly.
Withdrawals after the closing date may only receive a refund if the swimmer is unable to swim on medical grounds through injury or illness. (This includes a positive COVID test within 7 days of the competition or a requirement to self-isolate). All refunds must be approved by the Event Manager.
5.1.1 Swimmers failing a PCR/lateral flow test within 7 days of the event or presenting on the day with a high temperature will be allowed a full refund subject to completion of the form provided.
5.1.2 A request for refund of entry fees must use the form provided on the website and be returned no later than 18:00hrs on the day before the event entered and should be accompanied by medical evidence wherever possible.
